Raemy's Jenny Yoo Château Wedding in France
Raemy and Jon married in July at Le Château de Thauvenay in Sancerre, France. The bride wore a Jenny Yoo gown and her mother's shoes, while dinner was cooked by a chef from a Michelin-listed restaurant.

Raemy and Jon were married in mid-July at Le Château de Thauvenay in Thauvenay, near Sancerre, France. The couple, who had always wanted to marry abroad, planned and designed the entire wedding themselves, according to a report on Love My Dress.
The venue was the central decision. With 24 bedrooms and 22 newly remodeled bathrooms, the château could host nearly all their guests. Event Coordinator Johanna acted as their day-of coordinator. The timeless colour palette of sky blue and dusty yellow was inspired directly by the château's own architecture and surroundings.
The Bride's Attire and Accessories
Raemy wore the Catherine wedding gown from Jenny by Jenny Yoo, purchased at Anthropologie's BHLDN. She praised the brand for its unique, timeless silhouettes and accessible price point. The dress featured a pleated skirt with an almost 1940's pencil shape.
Her accessories were deeply personal. Raemy's aunt handmade a cathedral-length, single-layer tulle veil. For shoes, she wore her mother's Evan-Picone shoes from her 1990 wedding day. She also wore a small pearled hair pin previously worn by her cousins at their weddings.
Jewellery held special significance. Raemy wore a gold and diamond necklace her father gave her mother when her brother was born. Her earrings were Freshwater Culture-style pearl costume jewellery. For the reception, a close friend of her mother lent her a topaz cocktail ring. Her maid of honour, who has done her hair since high school, handled her wedding day hair and makeup.
The Ceremony and Personal Touches
Raemy was walked down the aisle by her father and brother. To honour a specific wish from her late mother, she entered to a shortened acoustic version of "Highland Cathedral." Their dear friend Neal Gottlieb officiated the agnostic ceremony.
The couple wrote one set of vows together. A favourite line was: "I will grow with you as we seek to better understand ourselves and the world around us; through the best and worst of what is to come, for as long as we live." Raemy's ring was a two-carat gold solitaire diamond passed down through the women in her family since 1901.
The Reception and Details
Jon's attire consisted of a tuxedo and bow tie by Polo by Ralph Lauren, a Brooks Brothers shirt, and black leather loafers from Tecovas. His cufflinks came from a favourite antique shop in their hometown.
Decor was minimal, relying on the château's beauty. Vases held wildflowers picked from the surrounding fields. Dinner was a highlight, curated by the chef from Michelin-listed La Tour in Sancerre. The multi-course meal began with sea bream crudo followed by slow-cooked pork shoulder. Raemy, a winemaker in Sonoma County, California, met Jon when they were both interns learning to make wine at Ridge Vineyards. They dated for seven years before his proposal in June 2024, marrying just over a year later in July 2025.
Photography was by Camille Huguenot, a Paris-based photographer noted for a peaceful and creative style. The bride's bouquet was made the day before at Bucolissim in Sancerre.
