Gregory and Shailyn chose the Palazzo Madama in Turin for their intimate elopement, planned by Eleonora of Peach Perfect...

Gregory and Shailyn eloped at the Palazzo Madama in Turin, Italy, in August, with the help of planner Eleonora of Peach Perfect Weddings and photographers Viviana and Andrea. The couple had not visited Italy before, and the chance to discover Turin together was a beautiful part of their experience.

The Palazzo Madama provided a regal Italian setting with historic architecture, museum galleries, and extraordinary artworks, giving them the romance and grandeur of a European oil painting. As reported by Lovemydress, the couple wanted their wedding to reflect the kind of marriage they were building, one filled with romance, culture, adventure, artistry, and abundance.

The Venue and Location

The couple's vision blended softness and drama, with warm ivory tones against deeper, moodier textures, romantic lighting, and details that felt intentional and artful. They were drawn to the kind of romance felt while traveling through historic cities, wandering through galleries, or dining somewhere that feels steeped in story and elegance.

The Dress

Shailyn wore a bespoke ivory satin wedding dress that she designed herself and commissioned New Orleans seamstress and film-industry tailor Aurora Knox to create. The dress featured a large, off-centre bow and was paired with a magnificent pearl and crystal-embellished veil. Gregory wore a beautifully tailored ivory tuxedo and opted for an alternative to the traditional boutonnière with a head-turner of a lapel arrangement.

The Ceremony

The ceremony was officiated by Love Celebrant, and Gregory and Shailyn walked together into the ceremony. They wrote their own vows together as they got ready for their elopement, which was their favorite part of the entire wedding day. The vows included memories in the kitchen and plans to make more, and the love they plan to cover over their unity, future children, and adventures together.

The couple's photographers, Viviana and Andrea, were a married couple, and their love and flow of working together translated beautifully in the couple's photos. They were able to capture a love story collectively from a perspective that was special.

Gregory and Shailyn's wedding was a reflection of their love and commitment to each other, and they poured their hearts into every detail. They wanted to honor their union with care and crafted detail, and every element was thoughtfully chosen to reflect the depth of what they were stepping into together. The couple's florals were by Frida's, and they designed an all-ivory floral lapel arrangement that made a statement and complemented Shailyn's bouquet perfectly.

The couple's advice to others is to plan their wedding for themselves, making sure they walk away satisfied. Beginning their next chapter, they found the importance in making it most memorable for themselves, as this is a once-in-a-lifetime commitment. Gregory and Shailyn's English Bulldogs, Gertrude and Gambino, were incorporated into the wedding through Gregory's gold cufflinks, a sweet touch to include their beloved pets in their special day.
