Nicole and Garrett were married at the Minitas Beach Club at Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic. Their beach chic wedding vision blended romantic florals with tropical botanicals in a palette of layered blues, white, and green.

Venue Transformation

Wedding planner Claire Duran stated the team completely transformed the well-known beach club venue. A full roof structure was constructed over the entire deck for weather protection. For the ceremony, an elongated aisle was designed to adapt to the sand's natural incline, positioned before an infinity pool with the Caribbean Sea as a backdrop.

Duran explained the reception deck was reimagined as an immersive, ephemeral garden. Existing palm trees became intentional anchors within a floorplan surrounded by lush floral installations. Square dining tables were layered with abundant blooms and tropical greenery, mixed with other table sizes and shapes. The layout transitioned into a dancefloor and stage at one end, with a large bar integrated into the club's final cabana.

Fashion and Attire

The bride's gown was by Made with Love. Bridesmaids wore dresses from Birdy Grey. Groomsmen attire was supplied by Silver Fox Label.

Food and Drink Details

Catering was provided by Casa de Campo. The cocktail hour featured passed canapes including a grapefruit goat cheese grape, tomato mozzarella pesto skewers, chicken skewers with pesto, a mini Serrano sandwich, tuna pizza, and crab cakes with sauce.

Guests pre-selected from three plated main course options.

The plated dessert was a vanilla cake with pastry cream. Mini desserts of tiramisu, coffee mousse, and traditional cheesecake were passed. Late-night snacks included cheese pizza and sliders. A full bar was available.

Ceremony and Reception Music

No readings were held during the ceremony. A specific music program was curated for both the ceremony and reception.

The ceremony prelude included "What a Wonderful World," "Without You (David Getta)," and "Can You Feel the Love Tonight." The groom and groomsmen entered to "Viva la Vida," while the bridesmaids entered to "Love is in the Air." The bride and her mother walked in to "Can't Help Falling in Love," and the recessional was "Baby, I Love Your Way."

For the reception, the couple's first dance was to "You Are the Best Thing." The mother-son dance used "Hope You Dance," and the mother-daughter and bridesmaids danced to "Dancing Queen." The optional last song was Stevie Wonder's "Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I'm Yours)."

The Proposal Story

According to a written account from the bride, Nicole, the couple got engaged on the Amalfi Coast in April 2024. Garrett, with the help of a proposal planner and Nicole's best friend, kept the plan secret. The proposal occurred on a rock on the beach in Positano, followed by a celebration with lemon drop martinis and their two best friends.

The wedding cake was a vanilla cake with pastry cream.
