Milly and Lewis were married at St Andrew and St Cuthman Church in the West Sussex village of Findon. Their reception was held at Findon Place, a countryside venue they described as a "home away from home." The day was photographed by Jessica Bevan, a wedding photographer with over a decade of experience.

According to the couple, their wedding planner, Rachel Dalton, was "truly amazing" and worked to bring their vision to life. They hired a brand-new sailcloth marquee from Tents N Events for the reception, which was decorated with lights and featured three silver birch trees to disguise structural poles.

The Bridal Attire

Milly's wedding dress was a bespoke design by British designer Suzanne Neville. It featured a Marquez bodice and a full skirt. "Working with a British designer was important to me, and the corset bodice with a full skirt made me feel incredible," Milly said. Her veil was handmade by Eden B and edged with delicate cotton lace.

For the evening, she changed into a sequined dress from Rotate. Her shoes were sparkly Amina Muaddi slingbacks. She wore pearl grips from Eden B and jewellery from G. Collins & Sons, a jeweller in her hometown of Tunbridge Wells. Her fragrance was Chloé Fleurs Neroli.

Lewis wore a timeless off-white tuxedo from 1956 FdB, made with Loro Piana fabric. He paired it with a bow tie from La Bowtique and cufflinks given as a wedding gift. The bridesmaids wore sage green Allegra Tie Shoulder dresses from Maids to Measure.

The Ceremony and Florals

The bride was walked down the aisle by her father to the song "Can't Help Falling in Love" by Elvis Presley. A string quartet, Magio Strings, performed in the church. The ceremony was conducted by Fr. Mark Heather and used traditional vows.

Readings included a passage from the First Epistle to the Corinthians, Chapter 13, "You Are the Bubbles" by Rachel Bright, and "Love Like A River" by Whitney Hanson. The bride's sister sang "This I Promise You" by Donna Taggart during the service. Wedding rings were from G. Collins & Sons.

Florals were a major focus. The church entrance featured a floral arch, with meadow boxes lining the aisle and large urns at the altar. Florist Sue repurposed these arrangements at the reception venue afterwards. The goal was a "quintessential British summer celebration" with a seasonal mix of garden flowers.

The Reception Details

After the ceremony, guests were transported to Findon Place by an old-fashioned Bentley from Premier Wedding Carriage. A drinks reception in the gardens featured a string quartet, champagne, and canapés. Lounge furniture was placed in the gardens for relaxation.

The sailcloth marquee was softly lit with festoon and fairy lights. Inside, three long banqueting-style tables and a top table were styled with bud vases, floral bowls, glass candlesticks, and taper candles. Following the wedding breakfast, catered by Food Glorious Food, a sunset cocktail hour on the terrace served espresso martinis.

The couple cut a three-tier carrot cake, their favourite, decorated simply with flowers. For the evening party, the ballroom was transformed with stage lighting and a large silver mirror ball. Videography was handled by Freya Film Co.

The couple first met on the dating app Bumble eight years ago. Lewis proposed while they were skiing in Val d'Isère. They were engaged for just over a year before their wedding.
