Couple's Minimalist Cyprus Wedding Features Bespoke Dance
A couple held a minimalist, al fresco wedding at the Ousia venue in Cyprus, featuring a custom dance floor inscribed with 'So this is love' and a palette

A couple created an elegant and timeless wedding at the Ousia venue in Cyprus, with a minimalist aesthetic defined by clean lines and a natural palette of white and green. The celebration was designed to feel effortless and personal, with every detail chosen to reflect the couple's personalities and the beauty of the outdoor setting surrounded by olive trees.
Design Vision and Personal Touches
The bride described their vision as creating a wedding that felt elegant, timeless, and effortlessly beautiful. They aimed for a minimal aesthetic with refined details and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The natural landscape played a key role in shaping the day's feeling.
Every element was selected with intention to make the experience authentic. This included white table linens paired with green napkins and various personalised touches for guests. The bride noted that the cocktail menu, thank you cards, and small gestures added warmth and meaning. The custom dance floor, featuring the phrase "So this is love," was highlighted as a favourite detail that captured the celebration's emotion.
Fashion and Attire
The bride's gown featured a structured corset bodice and a clean, elegant silhouette, described as timeless and minimal. The look was completed with a veil adorned with delicate 3D floral details.
The groom wore a custom-made black S150 wool tuxedo, tailored with attention to detail and fit. It was paired with a bow tie and suspenders to create a timeless look that complemented the wedding's overall aesthetic.
Florals, Decor, and Dining
The reception decor was designed to feel as though it belonged beneath the olive trees, using understated elegance and thoughtful layering. Long tables, organic floral arrangements, and the bespoke dance floor established a natural flow. The color palette of crisp white and soft green echoed the surrounding landscape.
Food and drink offered another opportunity for personalisation. Alongside the dinner menu, the couple served three signature cocktails: the bride's favourite, the groom's favourite, and one they both love. The wedding cake had a unique round shape with an open center, inspired by a wedding ring. Its clean white finish was adorned with candles on one half for a soft glow.
Music and Memorable Details
Music was an essential component for setting the mood. The couple carefully selected songs for key moments like their entrance, cake cutting, and first dance, each chosen for its special meaning. For the reception, they opted for soft and elegant melodies to complement the relaxed atmosphere.
The bride said the most special detail was the wedding day itself, which felt like a dream come true. Photographer George Liopetas, who has over 15 years of experience, highlighted the venue as his special detail. He described Ousia as a venue of high aesthetics, minimal with clear lines and amazing greenery, and praised wedding planner Gigi from Treasures Events for utilising the space brilliantly. The result, he said, was amazing photography.
