The wedding cake had delicate floral detailing. In a behind-the-scenes twist, the original cake was damaged during transportation hours before the reception. The team at Publix recreated a new three-tier cake in approximately ninety minutes. Nolen's groom's cake featured dark brown fondant with white ducks, hunting dogs, and faux reeds, nodding to his love of the outdoors.
