Aoife Walsh and Ben Nicholson celebrated their legal marriage with an intimate garden party for 20 guests at Raheen House Hotel in Clonmel on July 7, 2026. The Irish influencer and her new husband planned the small ceremony ahead of a larger celebration in the South of France.

According to the couple's account on One Fab Day, their love story began on the dating app Bumble. Ben proposed in Lisbon during the summer of 2025, arranging a surprise at the Miradouro das Portas do Sol viewpoint with the help of his sister-in-law and a photographer.

The Venue and Vision

The couple chose Raheen House Hotel in Clonmel for their Irish ceremony because it held fond family memories. Aoife noted the venue had hosted her mother's 70th birthday and her daughter's christening. They described the day as intimate, emotional, and magical.

FrogPrince Weddings handled the floral design and styling, realizing a storybook garden party theme with a pink and green colour palette. Aoife said the stylist "really brought the vision to life and exceeded any expectations." Both the ceremony and reception were held outdoors in the hotel's gardens.

Personal Ceremony Touches

Violinist and family friend John Shorthall provided music, with Aoife walking down the aisle to a rendition of Elvis Presley's Can't Help Falling in Love. Solemniser Michelle Kelly helped curate the service.

A key moment came when Ben's grandmother, who could not travel to the French celebration, shared a poem. The couple also involved Aoife's daughter, Penny, in the ceremony. They incorporated an "oathing of the stone" ritual, painting a stone with their initials which Penny handed to them as they said their vows. Penny also had the job of handing over the wedding rings.

Wedding Attire and Beauty

For her Irish wedding look, Aoife wore a bespoke midi dress created with designer Charlotte at Wilden London. The dress featured an embellished bodice, a scalloped peplum with pearls, and floral details on the cap sleeves.

Her beauty team included hairstylist Tiffany Flynn, makeup artist Yvonne Maher, and manicurist ArtNails by Klaudia. Lavish Beauty Clonmel provided her bridal tan. Ben wore a neutral-toned suit from Moss Bros with an open collar and no tie.

Suppliers and Styling Details

A range of local suppliers contributed to the day's details. The couple's stationery was by Ruby Roo Design, and their wedding cake was created by Sugarcoated by Lisa. As a personal wedding favour, Isa The Doodle Fairy made custom illustrations for the guests.

Aoife and Ben said they went into the day with a relaxed approach and no expectations. They reported being blessed with good weather, which allowed the entire event to be held outside. When asked if they would change anything, the couple's answer was simple: Absolutely nothing, it was perfection. The day was captured by photographer Ivana Milchanska.
