Erika and Jeffrey's La Vie En Rose Garden Party Wedding
A couple hosted a refined garden party wedding at Valley Rock Inn, focusing on hospitality, seasonal food, and unique floral designs, with a caviar bar

Erika and Jeffrey held their countryside wedding at Valley Rock Inn in the Hudson Valley. The couple, aiming for an intimate and hospitable celebration, worked with planner Jazmyn DeWolfe of JDW Events & Interiors to create a refined garden party during peak summer bloom.
Photography by Little Black Book Member 515 Photo Co captured the event, which was styled in a palette of blush, rose, vibrant orange, and lush green. The overall vision was a romantic "la vie en rose" weekend rooted in natural beauty and deliberate hospitality.
The Planning and Vision
Erika and Jeffrey wanted a celebration that felt intimate, elevated, and deeply rooted in hospitality. Inspired by the venue's natural surroundings, they embraced a refined garden-party aesthetic. Planner Jazmyn DeWolfe helped place hospitality at the center of every detail, from welcome baskets to curated menus, lighting, and music.
The goal was a warm and intentional experience for all guests. This personalized approach defined the entire weekend.
Food & Drink Details
Food was a defining experience. The couple worked closely with Valley Rock's Chef Matt to curate a restaurant-quality culinary journey. The focus was on seasonal ingredients and thoughtful presentation.
Guests enjoyed elevated dining across multiple events. These included a chic White Party, the main reception dinner, and a relaxed farewell brunch the following morning. In a notable departure from tradition, the couple skipped a wedding cake. Instead, they offered a caviar-forward late-night experience. This choice reflected their shared love of elevated dining and added a playful twist.
Florals & Decor
Buds of Brooklyn handled the floral and décor design. The arrangements leaned heavily into the venue's lush summer setting. The florist filled the weekend with specific blooms and greenery.
The key floral elements used throughout the celebration were:
Sperry Tents provided the main structure for the event. The layered design in blush and rose, accented with orange and green, completed the garden-party look.
The Wedding Weekend Experience
The celebration was designed as a full weekend immersion for guests. It began with a White Party and continued through the ceremony and reception. The final event was a farewell brunch.
Every element, from accommodations to music, was carefully considered. The couple's portrait sessions and the wedding party's activities were woven into this hospitable framework. The result was an experience that felt incredibly personal.
Photography documented all moments, from getting ready and bridal portraits to flat lays and the lively reception. The final images captured the warmth and intentional beauty of the summer garden party.
