The wedding of Paige and Miles was a classic and elegant celebration of love and commitment, featuring a traditional church ceremony and a reception at Louisville Country Club.

## Planning a Dream Wedding

Paige and Miles envisioned their wedding weekend as classic and elegant with subtle Southern charm. Following the traditional church ceremony, guests celebrated at Louisville Country Club, where the natural beauty of the venue complemented the couple’s vision.

## A Romantic Proposal Story

Miles planned a thoughtful proposal in what he calls his favorite place on earth. The couple took a vacation to Telluride, Colorado in February of 2025. One afternoon following a day of skiing, Miles convinced Paige to take a Gondola ride up to have a drink at Allred’s, a restaurant located mid-mountain. At the top of the gondola, instead of leading Paige to the restaurant, Miles walked the other direction to a flat spot overlooking the beautiful San Juan mountains, where he got down on one knee and proposed to Paige. Miles had connected with a local photographer prior to the trip, who was there to capture the moment.

## Elegant Wedding Attire

Paige wore “Alexandra” by Monique Lhuillier, a design that reflected the elegance of the wedding day. When Paige arrived at The Bride Room in Nashville, Tennessee alongside her mother, she was immediately drawn to the gown’s delicate lace and intricate detailing. Paige wore the coordinating bolero jacket to create a look that felt graceful and undeniably bridal. Later in the evening she changed into the La Fuori Mystical Garden strapless mini dress to dance the night away.

Paige’s bridesmaids wore the “Eva” dress by Lula Kate in Greenery Shantung with a straight skirt. The rich olive-green tone added depth and sophistication to the overall color palette. Paige wanted each bridesmaid to feel beautiful and comfortable while still maintaining a timeless and cohesive overall look.

The groomsmen wore classic black tuxedos, and Miles a classic white dinner coat.

## Beautiful Wedding Details

Guests were welcomed during cocktail hour with signature cucumber margaritas and classic old fashioneds, a beautiful raw bar, and passed hors d’oeuvres. For the seated dinner, guests selected from slow-braised beef short rib, grouper with an orange beurre blanc sauce, and airline chicken piccata.

The couple incorporated blush and ivory blooms paired with fresh greenery to create a ageless look. Every detail was designed to create an atmosphere that felt grand, glowing, and intentional. One of the most striking floral moments of the reception was the large mantle installation in the dining room which created a dramatic focal point for the evening. The stage was also lined with lush, overflowing florals featuring white snapdragons, white lisianthus, bells of Ireland, hydrangeas, layered greenery, and natural branches that added height, texture, and movement. The bridesmaids carried classic white peony bouquets, while Paige carried a delicate bouquet of lily of the valley, adding a timeless touch.

The couple partnered with Plehn's Bakery to create a stunning, four-tier wedding cake. The cake featured cascading buttercream dogwoods that tied into the floral design woven throughout the reception. As a finishing touch, the cake was topped with lime and raspberry Herend lovebirds, adding heirloom detail that incorporated the wedding’s blush, green, and ivory color palette as both a focal point and a reflection of Paige and Miles’ attention to detail throughout the wedding weekend.

## Music and Celebration

During the ceremony, Paige made her approach to the altar escorted by her father to “Prelude from Te Deum” by Marc-Antoine Charpentier. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour accompanied by a live string quartet, whose music added a classic ambiance to the evening. For the reception, the celebration transitioned into a lively and energetic atmosphere with a live band traveling from Auburn, Alabama, keeping the dance floor full throughout the night. One of the most memorable moments of the evening was Paige and Miles’ first dance to “Higher” by Chris Stapleton, a song that mirrored the warmth and joy of the celebration.

## Capturing the Moment

The couple's wedding was captured by a local photographer who was there to capture the moment of Miles' proposal in Telluride, Colorado.
